Here we are visiting with my family and relaxing. Yesterday we were having trouble with the battery overcharging, phoned a friend of mine and he told me it was the alternator giving me a warning, so this morning Dayle changed it for me, better now than breaking down completely.
I said yesterday I would try and post some pictures well here goes.

Getting Started
Well here we go I am finally starting my blog, friends have been pushing me to get going.
This is going to be about my trip to Alaska with my friend Rita from Texas.
Rita arrived Wed 21 May, we got things together and packed the van. We left Moose Jaw on Tues 27th around 10am, drove to Swift Current (Speedy Creek) made lunch, then carried on to Cabri Regional Park where my friends Kevin and Ruth are managing the park for the summer. Their blog is very interesting and very informative (travel with Kevin & Ruth).
We left them on Wed 28th and went to Drumheller Alberta, this is where the dinosaur museum and badlands are, we spent a few hours in the area. saw the smallest church and horse thief canyon.
The next day we were in Edmonton spent some time at the Edmonton mall and had a small visit with my granddaughter Meagan. We made it to Grande Prairie that night and stayed in the Casino parking lot.
In the morning we left for Dawson Creek where we went to see a movie on the building of the Alaska highway and take a picture of mile 0 then on to Fort St John where we are visiting with my daughter Michelle, Jody her husband, Dayle her brother in law and my granddaughter Kim, looking forward to a great visit.
I will try and put pics in my next blog still learning about this
Have a great day
