The scenery up here is beautiful, We met a couple who were panning for gold they told us that they got some and were going to make some jewelry when they got home, but they spend many days panning . We stopped at Chicken and spent the night there, we were told there were a few moose that came to the place each night, well they didn't show up for us.
This morning we left around 8am after having hot out of the oven cinnamon rolls.
Carried on to Tok it was cloudy and rainy glad we saw the hwy yesterday in the sunshine. Spent some time here at the visitors center saw a couple of films hoping that the rain would stop but it didn't got some gas quite a bit cheaper than in Canada.
Carried on to Delta Junction which is the end of the Alaska Hwy, Rita got her certificate there, we were told to watch for moose along the road well well we actually saw 5 Rita is happy about that.
Carried on some more and saw Santa and his Reindeer in North Pole, Reindeer are actually domesticated Caribou.
We are now sitting outside of Lowes in Fairbanks getting this blog up, phone service up here is little to none hope we can keep finding wifi.
Tomorrow we are visiting with some friends.
